Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

This policy explains what information FineWork.ai LLC collects through this website and in the course of our work, why we collect it, who else handles it, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

If you contact us through the form on this site, we receive what you choose to send: your name, company, email address, phone number, and your description of the problem you'd like solved.

If you become a client, we hold the information needed to run the engagement and bill for it — contact details, correspondence, project records, invoices, and payment history.

We do not sell information, and we do not use this site to build advertising profiles.

Why we collect it

We use what you send to respond to your enquiry, understand the problem you've described, and prepare a recommendation.

For clients, we use it to deliver the work, to invoice and collect payment, and to keep the records a business is required to keep.

Payment information

Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe's own privacy policy and security standards.

We never receive or store your full card number. What we keep is the record of the transaction — the amount, the date, what it was for, and enough of a reference to reconcile it against an invoice.

Stripe may also use information about the payment to detect and prevent fraud, as described in its own policy.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they process information only to deliver their service to us:

  • Vercel — hosts this website and the client application.
  • Supabase — stores client, project, and billing records.
  • Stripe — processes card payments and subscriptions.
  • Resend — delivers email we send, including enquiry notifications and invoices.
  • Anthropic — powers the AI features inside our client application. It does not train on data sent through its API.

Information we see during a project

Building a system usually means access to real data — customer records, documents, or an existing database. We treat that as your confidential information, use it only to do the work you've asked for, and hold it no longer than the engagement needs.

We don't use client data to train AI models. Where a solution we build uses an AI provider, we tell you which one and what it processes before it goes anywhere near live data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as they're relevant to an active or prospective engagement.

Client and billing records are kept for as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for the period tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email samuel@finework.ai and we'll action it within 2 business days.

Deletion has limits: we can't delete records we're required to keep for tax or accounting purposes, and we'll tell you if that applies.

Cookies and browser storage

This marketing site sets no cookies. There is no advertising or analytics tracking on it.

The client application keeps your sign-in session in your browser's local storage, which is what keeps you signed in between visits. Clearing it signs you out.
